Study on Material Corrosion Resistance of Flue Gas Waste Heat Exchanger

According to the statistics of China Electricity Council, about 97% China’s coal-fired power generating units adopted wet desulfurization process (WFGD), which limestone-gypsum is main process, accounting for 91% coal units. Without GGH, chimney exports can form white smoke plume. To solve problem environmental protection plume and boiler flue gas waste heat recovery, exchanger will be applied in condensation. But, SO2, CO2, HCl other complex components lead equipment serious corrosion, so, it necessary study material’s corrosion resistance. In this paper, natural experiments actual condensate 2205 duplex stainless steel, 2507 super 316L austenitic steel TA2 materials were studied by hanging weight loss method electrochemical at different temperatures. The results show that: existence weld increase tendency rate material. static immersion, higher temperature, rate; Corrosion 2507<2205< TA2< 316L; presence SO42- F-, oxide film destroyed its resistance reduced, provides a certain reference material selection exchangers chimneys.
